AARP MA Operation Stop Scams: Shred Event

Join us for a free shredding event!

Every two seconds, someone’s identity is stolen. Shredding confidential documents you no longer need is a good way to protect yourself, and the AARP Fraud Watch Network wants to help!

Bring up to 5 boxes (15x12x10″) of confidential documents to the Shred event, and we will shred them for free. The shredder can handle staples, paper and binder clips, no need to remove them. Absolutely no Hard Drives, glass, metals or plastics. We ask that everyone takes their boxes and bags with them.

It only takes a few minutes and can save you lots of headaches later on.

Shredding provided by New England Security Shredders.

Older Americans Month
May 1 – May 31 all-day
Older Americans Month

Across the country, older Americans – a rapidly growing population – are taking part in activities that promote wellness and social connection. They are sharing their wisdom and experience with future generations, and they are giving back to make enrich their communities. They’re working and volunteering, mentoring and learning, leading and engaging.

Older Americans Month is observed to recognize older Americans and their contributions to our communities. Every May offers opportunity to hear from, support, and celebrate our nation’s elders.
