Congregate Dining
Why attend a congregate dining site?
Congregate meals are hot lunches served in a social environment in settings such as senior centers, elder housing, and other gathering places where seniors meet. Our meals are very tasty, yet we have menus with no added salt, that are low in fat (under 30% of total calories), or are modified for diabetics.
Each meal provides the nutrients needed by an older American, according to the federal government’s requirements. Our nutritionist designs our menus monthly. We solicit feedback from our diners regularly regarding the quality of the meals.
Transportation to and from the dining sites is provided by some of our area Councils on Aging. Contact the dining sites for more information.
