SeniorCare has many ways in which you can volunteer your time or talent. Whether you want to volunteer a lot of time, or a little, you can help to support our efforts at SeniorCare. If you are age 55+, you can serve at various partner organizations throughout Cape Ann and the North Shore which are served by RSVP Volunteers of the North Shore, sponsored locally by SeniorCare.

SENIORCARE VOLUNTEER CENTER
How do I become a volunteer?
Contact the SeniorCare Volunteer Center by calling 978-281-1750 or 1-866-927-1050. A program manager will meet with you to discuss your particular interests in volunteering. You will be asked to complete an application and provide information for the completion of a criminal background check. Massachusetts law requires this check (CORI) of all employees and volunteers who will be working with seniors. Upon approval, the program manager will notify you and begin the orientation and training process. Soon, you’ll be among a group of more than 400 volunteers who give more than 50,000 hours of service per year in our communities.
How much time do I need to commit?
Potential volunteers are sometimes concerned about this. However, different programs have different requirements. Generally, volunteers spend a couple of hours each week in service. Many volunteers enjoy it so much that they want to contribute more!
